A light touch sets the system in motion, creating a chain of movements throughout the sculpture. The act of “winding” the pendulum establishes a deliberate interaction, encouraging awareness of time as a limited and physical resource.
Iris reflects the uncertainty of the moment and resilience may lie in allowing it to unfold, without urgency or resistance. In a future that cannot be known, the present becomes all we truly have.
What remains is not time measured, but time experienced. The piece becomes a quiet space for attention. An invitation to remain in the present.
